Even with Running Water, I Still Don't Wanna Live on Mars

NASA scientists recently announced that they have found direct evidence of running water on Mars. With the news came a lot of excitement, with talk about missions to Mars and the possibility of people living on Mars. The news reminded me of a Ziggy Marley song from his last album Fly Rasta. The song is called I Don't Wanna Live on Mars.

The tune does a great job of expressing the joy of living and an appreciation of whats really important in a persons life. Instead of pinning our hopes on flying off to other planets, we should enjoy and take care of the one we have. Not only is the earth a beautiful place to be but its also home to all the people we love. Better to love someone here on Earth than a Martian in Space. I don't wanna live on Mars.
